Oppenheimer Formula CL contains a super concentrated blend of communities of aerobic and microaerophilic microorganisms (microbes), that are blended into a dense absorbent powder. Our microbes are chosen for their affinity to degrade for chlorinated hydrocarbons molecules, both biochemically and physically.

Our proprietary mixture contains single cells ranging in size from 1 to 10 microns. These microbes have been selected from worldwide natural soil and water sources, (including those bacteria in the Domain Archaea). They are not genetically altered or modified in any way.

Chlorinated hydrocarbons are organic molecules characterized by the presence of at least one chlorine atom bonded to a carbon atom. Compounds which contain these molecules have a wide range of uses, from making cookware to creating industrial solvents. Examples include trichloroethylene (TCE) and Perchloroethylene (PERC).

The Oppenheimer Formula CL can be effectively used in a range of environments to treat crude oil, fuels, oil field waste, as a soil amendment, wastewater treatment, and chlorinated compounds in water and soils. For more applications click here.
